Halflight — Terms of Use

2. Licence agreement

Your use of Halflight is governed by Apple's standard licence agreement for apps (Licensed Application End User License Agreement). If you download the app from Google Play, this agreement applies accordingly; Google does not take over the rights and duties the agreement assigns to Apple. You buy a subscription from Apple or under Google Play's terms; the licence to use the app is between you and us.

3. Subscriptions

• You buy and pay for subscriptions through your Apple or Google account. The app shows the price, the period and any free trial before you buy.
• A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account.
• If you cancel at least 24 hours before a free trial ends, you are not charged.
• Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
• Refunds follow the rules of Apple or Google.

4. About the content

Some features generate text with AI models. Such text is created automatically, can be wrong or incomplete and does not reflect our opinion. Check important information before you rely on it. The characters you talk to in the chat are figures whose answers are written by an AI model. They are not real people, and nobody at our company reads along.

Halflight is a journal, not therapy. It does not diagnose anything and is not a substitute for medical or psychological help. If you are in crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency number (112 in the EU) or a crisis line immediately.

5. Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
