Faith Guide
Your daily walk with God.
In development · not yet released
Faith Guide is a companion for the ordinary religious day: a verse in the morning, a prayer for something specific, an answer when a question comes up that you would rather not ask out loud. Thirty-seven guided modules cover prayer, scripture study, life guidance and reflection, each one a conversation rather than a page of text.
It adapts to tradition. Catholic, Orthodox, Evangelical or Mainline Protestant changes the prayers offered, the examples used and the calendar the app follows — including a full liturgical year with its seasons, feasts and saints.
Scripture is not improvised. The app reads from a database of public-domain Bible editions we seeded ourselves, so a verse shown to a user is the verse as published — the model explains it, it does not write it.

What the model actually does in Faith Guide, screen by screen.
Conversation across 37 modules
Every module is a different system prompt over gemini-2.5-flash, streamed over SSE. The prompt carries your tradition, your name and a live liturgical block, so the answer fits both the person and the day of the church year.
Reading photographs
Send a photo and the same model handles it inline: a Bible reference is resolved and compared across translations with the Greek or Hebrew word that matters; a cross or icon is identified; handwritten sermon notes are turned into a recap.
Spoken questions
Questions can be asked out loud — the audio is transcribed by Gemini before the conversation continues.
Structured quizzes
Assessments such as the spiritual-gifts questionnaire are returned as validated JSON in a single call, with the scoring done locally.
Content generated ahead of demand
A nightly job on gemini-2.5-pro prepares the daily cards on the server so the app opens instantly; the client keeps a fallback path for when it hasn't run.
Grounded, not invented
373,315 verses from 12 public-domain editions in 11 languages are stored in our own database and read directly. The model is only ever a labelled fallback — the same rule governs the prayer corpus, where texts are quoted verbatim from named public-domain editions.
